Junior Tajweed & Fluent Quran Recitation

A structured 12-week interactive journey mastering articulation points (Makharij), rules of Tajweed, and melodious Quranic recitation with individualized teacher feedback.

About This Course

Proper Quranic recitation begins with precise phonetics and an understanding of the beauty of Tajweed. In this course, young learners are guided through interactive exercises, mnemonic hooks, and live one-on-one pronunciation check-ins.

Each student receives individual attention in small cohorts (max 6 students), ensuring bad recitation habits are corrected early with kindness and encouragement.

What Your Child Will Learn

1. Accurate Makharij Exact tongue, throat, and lip positions for tricky Arabic letters (ع, ح, ص, ض, ط, ظ, ق).
2. Essential Tajweed Rules Rules of Noon Sakinah/Tanween (Izhar, Idgham, Iqlab, Ikhfa) and Madd (elongation).
3. Smooth Word Blending Connecting multi-syllable words and understanding stop symbols (Waqf).
4. Confident Recitation Reciting Surah Al-Fatiha and key short Surahs with rhythm, beauty, and confidence.

Curriculum Outline (12 Modules)

Understanding the 6 throat letters (ء هـ ع ح غ خ) and deep tongue letters (ق ك). Practical exercises with Surah Al-Ikhlas.
Deep dive into Izhar (clear pronunciation), Idgham (merging with and without Ghunnah), Iqlab (conversion to Meem), and Ikhfa (hiding).
Izhar Shafawi, Idgham Shafawi, and Ikhfa Shafawi. Timing of 2-count Ghunnah in Noon and Meem Mushaddadah.
The 5 letters of Qalqalah (ق ط ب ج د) in Sujood/Waqf vs middle of words. Rules of letter Ra (ر) and Lam (ل) in the Name of Allah.
Comprehensive recitation evaluation covering Surah Al-Fatiha, Surah Ad-Duha, and selected verses. Personalized certificate of completion.
